New and Improved Web Site for CVMA
We are changing our site dramatically. The new CVMA web site now has an interactive Bulletin Board!!! The BB allows all registered members to post new information, upload pictures and interact with other members.
The BB provides all registered members the opportunity to post announcements, talk about your projects, post pictures, discuss various flying experiences (good and bad) as well as the ability to post items for sale and items wished to be purchased.
We've posted General Information on our club and how to join, News Letters, Activities and Events, Boys and Their Toys, Pylon Racers, Electric Topics, Free Plans, Links to Suppliers and other Clubs, For Sale and Wish to Purchase (Wanted). This is only a start, if you need additional topics we can add them, just let us know.
As with any BB, there are some basic rules, please read over them.... Basically they say please be courteous, no profanity, pornographic literature or pictures, no commercial selling, etc in general just behave ... Hahahahahaha ...
For non-CVMA members you can view the board as a guest or you can register. It's a very simple... When you go the Bulletin Board look at the bottom of the page, there you will find the links to "REGISTER" or "LOGIN" . If it's your first time click the "REGISTER" link and the system will automatically take you to the registration portion of the site. Just follow the simple instructions. It will ask you for a user name and password. You can use anything that you like for a user name same for the password. You don't have to use your CVMA ID and PW, you can create your own.... Also, don't forget to choose an avatar, you know, that little picture in your profile that tells us about you. To pick one, during your registration look in the upper right hand corner of the page. There you will see a drop down menu that will take you to the avatars, just pick one from one of the several categories available ....
If you choose not to register, you can use the BB as a guest. If you're a guest, you will be able to read most of the forums but you will not be able to post or reply to anything on the Board.
Hope this explanation was clear. If for any reason you have any problem with the Board or have trouble registering please let me know. You can email me at : cvma@cableone.net or call me... 928.778.6535.
